Eagles 33 - Skins 25

Eagles stayed alive for another week as predicted. i thought they showed a lot of character to come back in that game and might have a little fight left in them still. With Miami on the horizon, it will be interesting to see how many people will be cheering them on to get to 5-5.

Here is how I see the rest of the schedule playing out.

vs Miami - W 5-5 - The Eagles at home, just cant be the first team Miami beats, thought they are getting closer every week to winning a game.

at New England - L 5-6 - Does there have to really be an explanation here.

vs Seattle - W 6-6 - I think Seattle stinks, though they came into Philly on a Monday night in 2005 and blew the Birds doors off. They also went to the Super Bowl that season - they wont win this game or get back to the Super Bowl.

vs NYG - W 7-6 - The Eagles at home in the divison in December usually means good things. This is the time of year when the Giants seem to have issues. If the Eagles want to make the playoffs an upset as to happen somewhere. How aboput at home vs a NFC foe.

at Dallas - L 7-7 - Dallas is just a better team this season, not much more to say about it.

at New Orleans - W 8-7 - Re-match as the Eagles needing a win this week more then the Saints who lost a huge chance to get back in the picture with a loss to the Rams.

vs. Buffalo - W 9-7 - The Bills are just what the doctor order for a final week match-up. TRhey play good D, but cant move the ball a lick and they come to Philly on the second to last day of the year.

9-7, is that going to be good enough. I doubt it and to get to 9-7 will be a chore. I dont see any playoffs this season but in this NFL you never know. Am I saying they can make the playoffs and make a run to the Super Bowl. No, this isnt the year to be a fan of any team other then New England. They are the most clear-cut favorite to win it since the Dallas teams of the mid-90's.

I'll be at Chickies's and Pete's today with Omar Gaither...talk to you on the radio....
